This is a question that is asked by burgeoning photographers’ around the world. There are many variables such as the amount of people present in the frame, amount of light, time of day, weather conditions such as rain, snow and fog, etc. All of these factors can either ruin your shots or add/enhance an interesting unforeseen effect of serendipitous originality and approach. For example, the effect of light on sculptures, lightning, flowing water in the sun or moonlight. All of these create a unique effect and charm.
When shooting at night, night lighting requires long exposure. And, even with a stable and secure posture for shooting this may not be sufficient to get a good photo with a few seconds exposure. If you have a tripod, of course, you will not have any problems. What do you do if you don’t have a tripod? Then, you can do the next best thing.....we recommend that you set the camera on a fixed surface, which will let you focus the camera on the object of your shoot. You will love the results when using a stable and secure mount.
So, who is to say that there is a best time for shooting photos, because everyone is trying to achieve a different result depending on their client’s wishes or the photographer’s imagination.
Be creative! Don’t be afraid to take a risk and experiment with different times of the day and who knows, you may have some happy accidents.
